Rezultatele operaționale ale Hub-ului de securitate al Uniunii Europene pentru securitatea internă și managementul frontierelor Republicii Moldova (HUB-ul de Securitate) vor fi evaluate mâine la Bruxelles, Belgia, în contextul ședinței Consiliului Uniunii Europene pentru Justiție și Afaceri Interne (JAI).
Republica Moldova este una dintre țările cele mai afectate de războiul din Ucraina. De la declanșarea agresiunii nejustificate a Rusiei asupra țării vecine, și securitatea internă a RM este amenințată constant de o serie de manifestări ale criminalității transfrontaliere, cum sunt migrația ilegală, traficul de ființe umane și arme, crimele cibernetice, pericolele hibride, dar nu numai.
Uniunea Europeană și-a arătat în mod constant solidaritatea deplină față de Rep. Moldova și angajamentul de a-i sprijini nevoile critice. Înființarea, în iulie 2022, a Hub-ului de Securitate aduce la un nou nivel cooperarea dintre agențiile de aplicare a legii din țara noastră și cele din comunitatea statelor membre ale Uniunii Europene.
La cea de-a cincea ședința a Centrului de Securitate al UE, vor fi discutate rezultatele obținute de Hub-ul de Securitate în primele șase luni de activitate. Ședința va fi co-prezidată de Comisarul European pentru Afaceri Interne, Ylva Johansson, și ministrul afacerilor interne al Republicii Moldova, Ana Revenco.
Este pentru prima dată când, la ședința tehnică a Hub-ului, participă Comisarul UE pentru Afaceri Interne și reprezențanța președinției rotative a Consiliului UE, Secretarul de Stat al Suediei, Charlotte KUGELBERG. La ședință vor participa și șapte reprezentanți ai minișterelor de interne din Spania, România, Slovacia, Lituania, Cehia, Polonia și Finlanda.
Consiliul urmează să aprobe raportul de activitate pentru primele șase luni și Planul de dezvoltare și integrare a HUB-ului în ecosistemul european de securitate.
Ministerul Afacerilor Interne al RM invită reprezentanții mass-media și toate persoanele interesate să ia cunoștință de platforma oficială a Hub-ului de Securitate- https://maisigurinue.md/. Platforma a fost creată cu suportul Uniunii Europene, pentru a asigura o mai bună vizibilitate a cooperării dintre Uniunea Europeană și Ministerul Afacerilor Interne al Republicii Moldova. Aici va fi reflectată cu regularitate întreaga activitate de dezvoltare și inovare a domeniului afacerilor interne din țara noastră.

The Republic of Moldova's efforts to fight threats targeting European security are to be discussed in Brussels
The operational results of the EU Support Hub for Internal Security and Border Management in the Republic of Moldova (EU Support Hub) will be assessed tomorrow in Brussels, Belgium, in the context of the European Union Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council meeting.
The Republic of Moldova is one of the countries most affected by the war in Ukraine. Since the outbreak of Russia's unjustified aggression against the neighbouring country, Moldova's internal security has also been constantly threatened by a number of cross-border crime phenomena, such as illegal migration, human and arms trafficking, cybercrime, hybrid dangers and more.
The European Union has constantly stood in solidarity with the Republic of Moldova and has shown the commitment to support Moldova's critical needs. The establishment in July 2022 of the EU Support Hub brings to a new level the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies from our country and those from the EU community.
At the fifth meeting of the EU Security Center, the results achieved by the Support Hub in its first six months of operation will be discussed. The meeting will be co-chaired by European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson, and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Ana Revenco.
This is the first time when both the EU Commissioner for Home Affairs and representative of the rotating EU Council Presidency, Swedish State Secretary Charlotte KUGELBERG, will participate at the technical meeting of the Hub. Representatives of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Poland and Finland will also attend the meeting. The Council is due to approve the Progress Report for the first six months and the Plan for the development and integration of the Hub into the European security ecosystem.
