During the period of 29 June – 01 July this year, in Chisinau, it was held a seminar on police prevention activity in society", event organized by the Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with the Police Presidium from Mannheim of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany. The Deputy Commissars, chiefs of public order police, representatives of the General Commissariat of Police, Special Police Brigade"Fulger", subdivisions of Police Department and Department of Carabineers Troops attended this event.
This seminar is a contribution of the Parties to the project of bilateral cooperation between Republic of Moldova and German Federal Republic, serving as a continuation of the official working visit of representatives of MoI in German Federal Republic in March this year.
This event aimed to familiarize the representatives of MoI with the concept of “Prevention”, which is the main task of police during the demonstrations and mass events and detailed presentation of prevention in German as well.
Also, the afore-mentioned seminar focused on sharing the theoretical and practical experience during the demonstrations and mass events and detailed presentation of prevention in Germany.
Therefore, as a positive reaction from the host nation side was the organization of a simulated tactical situations inside the Special Police Brigade"Fulger". The purpose of this simulation was to familiarize the experts from Germany with the intervention of Moldovan Police during events and mass demonstrations.
At the end of this event the leader of German delegation Mr. Renato Gigliotti welcomed the initiative regarding the promotion of institutional interest in launching of a National Prevention Center similar the Romanian one.
