10 Iulie 2010 On July 7, Wednesday, in the conference hall of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was organized the meeting with the representatives of international organizations and embassies of UE member states which are accredited in the Republic of Moldova, within the MIA International Donor Coordination Meeting and Information Sharing Meeting in the field of police reform.Participants during the meeting discussed about the donor assistance offered to enhance capacity of MIA in order to attract the assistance from potential donors to support reforms that are initiated within the MIA.During the meeting, those present outlined the importance of the event; being mentioned the contribution brought by donor states to the ministry to strengthen institutional capacity and functioning of the MIA. In this context, the importance of the amendment to the Concept of reforming the Moldovan police was emphasized.Representatives of the foreign embassies have shaped the need to coordinate donor support and have welcomed the Ministry for organizing this event.
