Today, August 3, 2010, Minister of Internal Affairs, Victor Catan, had a working meeting with Director of the SECI Regional Center, Mr Gurbuz Bahadir.
During the meeting they discussed several topics related to organized crime, tobacco smuggling, human trafficking and monitoring of migration flows on the Transnistrian segment. Also, Mr. Victor Catan highly appreciated support by the SECI Center in establishing and developing cooperation relations between Moldova's Interior Ministry in cooperation with international police organizations
In turn, Mr. Bahadir said that is satisfied of bilateral relations, considering the positive contribution made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to combat cross border crimes, carrying out a review of priorities and principles, the Moldovan authorities should follow the process monitoring and forecasting of migration flows.
SECI Regional Center dignitaries confirmed the future availability of grant support in strengthening relations with international bodies Ministry of Internal Affairs. In this context, the cooperation was established and has been listed on the concrete steps to make Moldova's European integration, which are focused on liberalization of visa regime, and the European experience, taking care to secure frontiers.
