The Ministry of Internal Affairs announces that it has initiated extension of the temporary protection mechanism granted to displaced persons from Ukraine. Thus, Moldova aligns with the EU Decision 2025/1460 on the extension of temporary protection.

Every year, our country faces fires, floods, and extreme weather events that endanger lives and property. To better respond to these challenges, the Government has approved an amendment to its decision on civil protection training.

Its purpose is to adapt the training process to current realities and to the risks faced by the Moldovan citizens.

Moldova is taking an important step toward improving road safety. Connecting to EUCARIS, the European system through which EU member states quickly verify information about vehicles and driving licences, brings direct benefits to citizens and to the way traffic violations are handled.

To facilitate the mobility of citizens and transport operators and to modernize border-crossing management, the Government has approved the launch of negotiations with Romania on introducing coordinated control at the Lipcani – Rădăuți Prut road crossing point.
