The Republic of Moldova will initiate the update of the Readmission Protocol with Romania under the Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Community on the readmission of persons residing without authorization, signed in Brussels on October 10, 2007.

Citizens and businesses operating in border areas will no longer face complex procedures, in-person visits to public authorities, or wait long waiting times for approvals. Following the Government’s decision to digitize the notification process, interaction with authorities becomes simpler and faster.

The Republic of Moldova is strengthening its European partnerships in the areas of security, mobility, and modern public services. Today, senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomed Lithuanian Minister Vladislav Kondratovič to Chișinău.
