A new, energy-independent fire and rescue station has been inaugurated in Ocnita, enhancing safety for residents across 33 localities in northern Moldova. Built to European standards, the modern facility significantly improves working conditions for firefighters and rescue personnel.

Residents of Cainari and 23 other localities in the districts of Causeni, Ialoveni and Anenii Noi benefit from a modern fire and rescue station, built from the ground up.

Today, the interior ministers of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine met in person for the first time since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, for discussions focused on strengthening regional security and enhancing the management of cross-border crimes.

Ensuring the security of Moldova's borders and communities through effective internal affairs mechanisms, so that citizens feel protected and receive quality services, was a key focus of discussions held by the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during bilateral meetings at the Munich Security Conference.
