Several employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Inspectorate of Police have participated in a two-day conference ‘Strategic planning and management in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova in the context of EU integration’.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Ana Revenco, had several bilateral meetings with senior officials during her working visit to Bucharest. Cooperation on various aspects of strengthening national and regional security was discussed.

The Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum, which took place on May 18th-19th in Bucharest, is a perfect platform for synchronising security strategies at regional, European, and bilateral level.

In this regard, Minister of Internal Affairs, Ana Revenco, had several meetings with experts in the field of international diplomacy and security policies, including Director of the GLOBSEC Kyiv Office, Iuliia Osmolovska.

Once the Republic of Moldova has been granted candidate EU candidate status, the efforts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have focused on intensifying cooperation with EU Member States in terms of aligning national legislation with the EU acquis, but also with European practices, which will contribute to modernising the internal affairs system, enhancing state security and combating crime.

As a result of the tactical simulation exercises of the EPC Summit, which were carried out today, the flights organized from the Chisinau International Airport, between 09:00 am and 12:30 pm, took place according to the schedule, except the Chisinau – Brussels flight, which had a 30-minute delay.
