The Republic of Moldova joined its European and Euro-Atlantic partners at the tenth edition of the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum, held in Bucharest on May 12–13, 2026 - one of the region’s most prominent platforms dedicated to security, resilience, and international cooperation.

Good news for the Moldovan diaspora in Ireland. Moldovan citizens living in Ireland will soon be able to exchange their driving licenses without having to take additional theoretical or practical exams, following the Government’s approval of the Agreement between the authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Ireland on the exchange of driving licenses, signed in Dublin on April 8, 2026.
