Citizens and businesses operating in border areas will no longer face complex procedures, in-person visits to public authorities, or wait long waiting times for approvals. Following the Government’s decision to digitize the notification process, interaction with authorities becomes simpler and faster.

The Republic of Moldova is strengthening its European partnerships in the areas of security, mobility, and modern public services. Today, senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomed Lithuanian Minister Vladislav Kondratovič to Chișinău.

In response to these challenges, the legislative framework has been improved to more effectively prevent and combat the illegal trafficking of prohibited substances.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the signing of an agreement with the Irish authorities on the mutual exchange of driving licences. The agreement will allow licences to be recognised and replaced without the need to sit additional theoretical or practical exams, in accordance with each country’s legal requirements.
