Senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, the U.S. Embassy in Moldova, the U.S. Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the EU Delegation to Moldova and EUPM Moldova convened to discuss mechanisms to speed up the expansion of the TETRA secure communications system for nationwide operability.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean officially introduced Daniella Misail-Nichitin as the new Minister of Internal Affairs. The handover of responsibilities between the outgoing and incoming ministers took place in the presence of the Prime Minister during a ceremony at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
