Supportive, ready, present: Moldovan firefighters depart for Greece


Today, a team of Moldovan firefighters departed for Greece on a new international mission to support local authorities in combating wildfires. Twenty-two firefighters from the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), equipped with six fire engines, will operate for two weeks in the city of Patras, alongside colleagues from Romania, France, the Czech Republic and Austria.

Moldovan carabineers and police officers who, in the summer of 2024, took part in the first international security mission for Moldova during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris have been officially recognized by the French Embassy in Moldova for their professionalism and dedication.

Important agreement signed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the International Police Association


The Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the International Police Association (IPA) in the presence of representatives from 10 countries. Signed by Secretary of State Alexandru Bejan, the agreement sets the stage for active collaboration across several areas, all aimed at enhancing public safety.

Safe football, joyful experience

A football match should be all about excitement, cheering and the shared joy of coming together. To ensure that every international competition hosted in Moldova is safe, vibrant and incident-free, the Government has approved a key measure: the establishment of a National Football Information Point within the General Inspectorate of Carabineers.
