Young people from France and the European Economic Area, aged 18 to 28, will have the opportunity to complete professional internships within French institutions operating in the Republic of Moldova. To this end, a draft government decision has been prepared to launch negotiations and approve the signing of an agreement, through an exchange of diplomatic notes between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the French Republic on the International Volunteer Program (VIE).
Through this program, participants will be able to enhance their professional skills, share knowledge and best practices, and collaborate in mixed teams alongside local employees. At the same time, Moldovan companies will benefit from the volunteers' international experience and from strengthened economic ties with France, potentially encouraging greater foreign direct investment in the private sector.
During the internships, participants will be granted a residence permit or resident card, in accordance with national legislation, based on diplomatic notes issued by the Embassy of the French Republic.
