The Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the International Police Association (IPA) in the presence of representatives from 10 countries. Signed by Secretary of State Alexandru Bejan, the agreement sets the stage for active collaboration across several areas, all aimed at enhancing public safety.
Through this partnership, Moldovan police officers will gain access to international courses and training opportunities, including in Germany, and will benefit from the expertise of foreign professionals visiting Moldova. This marks a significant step forward in the professional development of ministry staff, as well as in the training of future police officers at the “Stefan cel Mare” Academy.
Discussions also focused on strengthening ties between Ministry employees and the IPA network, through joint activities and experience-sharing initiatives, grounded in trust, solidarity and mutual support.
More than just a professional exchange, this collaboration brings together people who share a common mission: to protect citizens and uphold public order and security across borders.
For citizens, this means a better trained police force, equipped to respond more effectively to today’s security challenges.
