A football match should be all about excitement, cheering and the shared joy of coming together. To ensure that every international competition hosted in Moldova is safe, vibrant and incident-free, the Government has approved a key measure: the establishment of a National Football Information Point within the General Inspectorate of Carabineers.
This centre will enable real-time communication between the Moldova authorities and their international counterparts, helping to identify potential risks posed by individuals or groups with a history of violent behaviour. The result: fewer incidents, less disruption around stadiums, and a safer, more enjoyable environment for fans, organizers and local communities.
For supporters, football players and their families, these measures mean one important thing: the freedom to experience football with passion – not fear. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is committed to supporting both sport and public safety, ensuring that Moldova remains a place where football is played beautifully and celebrated in peace.
