In an official ceremony today, Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros and Karina A. Nersesyan, UNFPA representative in the Republic of Moldova, marked the handover of a significant donation to the Ministry’s Medical Service. This collaboration with UNFPA has resulted in a donation exceeding 130, 000 EUR, which includes modern medical equipment for obstetrics, gynaecology, and urology, as well as specialized medical furniture for examination and intervention rooms.
Minister Efros stated, "This advanced equipment enables us to enhance our services, effectively addressing urgent needs and contributing to a more resilient and inclusive healthcare system. We are committed to using these resources responsibly to deliver high quality care to all who need it".
This donation represents a significant step forward in the ongoing effort to improve the healthcare services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The MIA remains dedicated to continuously modernizing its infrastructure and ensuring that all citizens have access to quality healthcare, thereby fostering the well-being of communities.
