Chisinau, October 2, 2024 - State Secretaries Mariana Lucreteanu and Andrei Cecoltan met with Thomas Blenke, State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, to discuss expanding police cooperation and initiating collaboration in the field of emergency situations and civil protection. The discussions centered on the potential support that the Ministry of Interior, Digitalization and Local Administration of Baden-Württemberg could offer to the Republic of Moldova in areas relevant to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the meeting, the officials also explored proposals for projects in areas of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting, invitations were extended to MIA subdivisions to participate in training activities organized in Stuttgart and the interest in exchanging best practices in combating disinformation was underlined.
