Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin met with representatives of the Global Security Sector Reform Foundation (GS Foundation) to sign an additional agreement extending their ongoing cooperation. The agreement prolongs the project "Strengthening security and administrative capacities within the Ministry of Internal Affairs" until March 2027.

Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin held a farewell meeting with the Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, Ambassador Jānis Mažeiks, who is concluding his four-year mandate in the country. 

Starting August 24, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., the border and customs authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Romania will introduce a coordinated control procedure at the Giurgiulești - Galați border crossing point, on the entry side into Romania.
