27 October 2025 Starting today, drivers can access video surveillance reports and check their traffic violations directly in MCabinet. Reports automatically generated by road monitoring systems are now available in the “Violations” section at mcabinet.gov.md. The new feature allows drivers to view traffic violations recorded by road surveillance cameras, which include detailed information such as the date, location, vehicle involved, and an accompanying photo. By reviewing this data, drivers can better understand the circumstances of each violation, reflect on their driving behavior, and prevent future violations, thus promoting greater responsibility and discipline on the road. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Information Technology Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Electronic Governance Agency, which worked together to develop the new functionality in MCabinet, encourage drivers to log into their virtual personal cabinet using an electronic signature, and to periodically review the photo reports, either out of curiosity or as a precaution, to ensure that there are no violations. If a traffic violation notice is issued, drivers can conveniently pay the fine through the EVO application. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the Electronic Governance Agency to advance digital transformation and improve citizens' access to public data and online services. The implementation aligns with the objectives set out in the Digital Transformation Strategy 2023-2030 and with the digitalization policies promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the authority responsible for coordinating the national digitalization process.
