Daniella Misail-Nichitin took the oath of office and begins her new mandate as Minister of Internal Affairs

Today, Daniella Misail-Nichitin took the oath of allegiance to the Homeland, officially assuming the position of Minister of Internal Affairs in the newly appointed Government. The oath was taken in the presence of President Maia Sandu, Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, and fellow members of the new Cabinet, marking the beginning of a mandate focused on strengthening citizens’ safety and modernizing the internal affairs system.

Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin’s commitment to public safety is reflected in the following priorities:

Ensuring the safety of citizens and communities, so that every person feels protected and supported; 
Modernizing the institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and digitizing services to ensure rapid and efficient interventions;
Aligning legislation with European standards and implementing international best practices;
Building a transparent, predictable, and trustworthy internal affairs system that supports community development; 
Strengthening local safety through prevention, training, and cooperation with authorities, NGOs, and civil society.
